Classics Whiplash : Evil Tail-Thrashing Warrior

Whiplash was the August 2010 figure, and sold out in around forty-five minutes.

Bio:
Real Name: Torrant Krazut
Following their father’s untimely death, Torrant grew up bitter under the rule of his older brother Ceratus. After years of brooding in Sub-Ternia, he struck a deal with a surface dweller named Keldor, and helped lead his forces in a raid against Randor’s army during the Great Unrest. Although Keldor’s plan failed, Torrant was banished from Sub-Ternia, for betraying his people. He was taken in by his former employer and quickly rose up through the ranks, staying with Keldor even after his transformation into Skeletor, serving as his chief brute squad enforcer. His thick hide and stubborn intellect have made him more than a match for the Master of the Universe, often leaving only He-Man to defeat him. Whiplash uses his thrashing tail for doom and destruction.

Whiplash comes with a spear, an extra 200x inspired head and weapon.

Classics Mer-Man : Ocean Warlord

Today I was in a dilemma whether to open Scareglow or Mer-man. In the end the aquatic warlord won. As part of the Classics line, Merman was released on April 2008, and sold out under an hour.
Bio
Real Name: Squidish Rex
Ruler of the undersea realms of Eternia, Mer-Man was forced to serve in the armies of Skeletor after his kingdom was destroyed in a battle with rival ocean clans. His allegiance with Skeletor brings him to the surface world more often then he would like. Lurking deep beneath the sea of Rakash, Mer-Man awaits the evil call to arms of Skeletor!

Mer-man comes with an alternate head, a sword, and a trident.

Take One with Classics Evil-Lyn

Tried something different yesterday. After some feedback from AT and Rajiv, I switched to complete manual mode on my camera. I used the same white balance that I used on Keldor (for the less "warm" effect), reduced the aperture and slowed down the shutter speed. This made quite a difference. If you notice all the pictures posted until now, the feet of the figures were not always in focus also the diorama was not adding much value to the shot. Now, I think the entire figure is in focus along with some of the details on diorama. What do you think? Needless to say, my experiments will continue...

Classics Evil Lyn - Evil Warrior Goddess

Evil Lyn was the fourth woman figure in the classics line and was released in April 2010. The fact that she sold out in under six minutes shows how popular this figure was.
Bio:
Real Name: Evelyn Morgan Powers
Raised by her father in the ruins of Zalesia, Evelyn left her home in a fit of teenage rebellion. Taking the name Evil-Lyn, she travelled Eternia learning from many of its great masters the ways of magic and the dark arts. While searching for new ways to increase her power, she met and fell in love with an ambitious alchemist named Keldor, and agreed to join his cause. After Keldor was transformed into Skeletor, he lost all emotional attachments to Evil-Lyn and she began to scheme against him. In a series of miscalculations, she helped release both King Hssss and Hordak from their inter-dimensional prisons. Evil-Lyn uses her crystal ball to foresee the evil future!

Evil Lyn comes with two staffs, one crystal, Screech, and a pearch for the falcon.

Classics Skeletor and Keldor

When I get some time I am going to create the "acid burn" Keldor using photoshop. Till then we'll have to settle for this:

Classics Keldor : Apprentice of Hordak

Keldor was one of my favorite figures from the 200x line. Unfortunately, I have only one of those figures and it’s mint-on-card. The classics Keldor was a little bit of a disappointment, really – but he does make for some cool pictures. Classics Keldor was released in June 15th 2010 and sold out under half an hour.

Bio:
Real name: Keldor of the house of Miro
Banished from the royal palace, in part due to distrust for the rare blue-skinned Gar race, Prince Keldor became an outcast. He traveled Eternia seeking knowledge and guidance, eventually discovering the ancient Spirit of Hordak. From him, Keldor learned of the dark arts, and came to realize that to truly unite Eternia he would need to take command of the planet himself. He gathered an army of fellow outcasts and led them into battle against his brother, Captain Randor. Eventually defeated, and near death, Keldor once again turned to Hordak who, in exchange for his own freedom, agreed to save Keldor’s life by merging him with Demo-Man, twisting Keldor into Skeletor – Lord of Destruction!

Keldor comes with two half swords and a vial.
