Classics King Grayskull : Heroic Ancestor of He-Man
King Grayskull was one of the most anticipated figures for me, as I have not (yet) had a chance to get the original King Grayskull which was the SDCC exclusive back in 2008. The re-issue sold out in around eight hours in November 2010.

Real Name: D’Vann Grayskull
Growing up under the oppressive rule of the Snake Men, D’Vann was driven to rebel against injustice when his brother was captured and eaten. Others flocked to Grayskull’s banner and his legend began to grow. Declared King for his courae, compassion, wisdom and strength, Grayskull became a great leader, ruling along with his council of wise Elders. A destined guardian of the Sword of He, Grayskull magically passed his essence into the blade with his last breath – ensuring that only his heirs would now wield it and tap into the great power it harmonized with. After this death, the sword was split in two and its power transmuted into a great orb inside his castle, protected by Grayskull’s devoted and loving widow.
King Grayskull comes with a "phasing" power sword, two half swords, a shield and an orb.

The Death of the King
After the death of King Grayskull, the sword of He was split in two and its power transmuted into a great orb inside his castle, protected by the Goddess. Knowing the full sword was the key to channeling the power, they split it in two to prevent it from falling into the hands of evil.
